HAUT is a hub for performing arts development. We cherish curiosity, generosity and exchange – and create spaces where artists and audiences can meet.

We believe that the performing arts should be in motion – and that change begins with those who dare to investigate, question and create something new. HAUT is an invitation to do just that: to take part in a vibrant and generous ecosystem where artistic courage, knowledge sharing and community are the driving forces.

In close dialogue with the Danish and international performing arts community, we work to create the best conditions for artists and artistic development work, and to be an active part of the constant movement and innovation that characterizes the field.

With residencies, festivals, conversations and publications, we create space for artistic immersion and conversations about the role, potential and future of the performing arts. We create the opportunities we ourselves have missed – where there is room to take chances, develop practice and insist on the value and integrity of the art.

Together we create the future of performing arts.

HAUT's board consists of chairperson H. C. Gimbel, vice chairperson Simone Wierød, Treasurer Katrien Verwilt, and board members Mary Tesfay and Maja Bonde Holtze.
