Every year the enforcement authority sends more than 3000 people to the streets because they cannot pay their rent. The effects of the home - however personal they may be - are handed over to the police, who sell it on as a so-called “exposed living garden”. Vontrapp I bought one of these.

With the performance installation AUCTION/ACTION will Vontrapp invite the public to auction at SEARCHES, in which the audience is confronted with the ruins of a life. A sea of personal belongings will be put on display, and audiences will now have the opportunity to snoop, snoop and bid on another person's home for pennies.

AUCTION/ACTION is an unusual performance installation that moves in the borderline field between fiction and reality.

On Friday 17/4 at 15:00 - 20:00 and Saturday 18/4 from 12:00-20:00 the doors will be open for inspection. Here potential buyers can come and look at the used everyday objects, as well as closely study the catalog. On Saturday at 20:00 the auction itself will be settled when the auctioneer takes the podium.
