“Devil's Lover” (Djaevlekaereste) has been developed in Sep -Oct 2018. It is a dialogue that puts both the material of the language and the dramatic text under magnifying glass.

Specifically, the text examines a peculiar, dysfunctional language between two people and challenges general grammar when it focuses on the (linguistic) obviousness we develop in close relationships. In the performance, we meet a man (manifested in a loudspeaker) and a woman (a human/actor).

These two characters go in and out of different times in a relationship which did not end well. The dialogues burst a general narrative logic - just as relationships do outside the stage room. They speak a language borne out of their hateful stings for each other, a grammatical meanness and glimmering attempts to show affection in the midst of a simmering conflict.
