Through an open call, HAUT and CATCH jointly curated electronic musician Julie Østengaard to collaborate with the cross-aesthetic technological artist Christoffer Vincent Thon.
They delve into the project Interfacingthougts, a cross-aesthetic work that works at the intersection of performance and installation.
Here they examine the relationships between people as technology becomes the intermediary for our communication. In a performative installation, brain activity translates into interactive audio and cymatics. A performer's state of mind and thoughts control an interactive space that evolves by their own thinking every second.
Interfacingthoughts provides, with the use of technology, access to an otherwise hidden world, revealing a person's mysterious inner state of mind in a sensuous and expressive experience. The work examines communication and the connection or distance between us as human beings by translating mental states into sound, light and vibrations in water.

HAUT and CATCH have collaborated to create the framework for two Exiles that will be part of the program at CLICK Festival in Elsinore in May 2019.
The collaboration has emerged from a shared vision of providing a framework for artistic research and talent development.
Staging the Future of Technologies is based on the encounter between a technological practice and an artistic practice. The project focuses on creating new, equal collaborations in the encounter between art and technology, and on the evolving process. We also hope to see showcases of the collaboration for the CLICK Festival, which has the potential to grow and evolve towards a finished production subsequently.
