A fake conference playing with sense and nonsense in an academic art setting.
The artists' artistic background in the performing arts has taught them to express openness to failure. Although real failure may not seem like something worth risking, as most artists depend on recognition and limited resources.
The aim of NARTnART is for artists to use their artistic alter egos to stage these uncertainties and challenges in a comical but caring way. See them fail and hit the mark academically.
Statement from NARTnART: "We have an academic interest in the phenomenon of FAILURE.
NARTnART international is an ART/NART collective that focuses on exploring our self-invented concept of ‘NART’, which is defined as: potential realities that are characterized as neither ART NOR NOT ART. We are investigating whether an open NARTwork sharing at HAUT could be a potential platform for channeling the potential of failure and thus creating an actual platform for sharing our potential failures." The NARTnART team is very much looking forward to seeing everyone who shows up for their sharing. Learn more about NARTnART here, or get a glimpse of their last conference in Kirchheimbolanden in 2019 in the video below.
NARTnART has an academic interest in the phenomenon of ERROR. What kind of artistic/NARTistic platform should they create in order to master potential errors in their encounter with the audience?
