The Artistic Research
O/K is a working methodical exploration of how to write a dramatic text through the collaboration of different aesthetic disciplines.
Tatjana or Tanja have done it: killed their parents. But while Tatjana is interrogated and treated according to the instructions of officers Jensen and Nielsen, Tanja is scolded. For Tatjana is the baby, the human child, who ended up in a respirator immediately after birth. Tanja, by contrast, is her clone, her backup, her mirror image. Their dual existence was their parents' greatest secret, and now the truth, the lie, threatens to strike everyone—dead as undead.
The questions remain. Who did it? Why did they do what they did? Who walks free when all the clues point to the same one, but the same one is split in two?
The artists
The Artist Collective BETWEEN has emerged as an ad hoc collaboration between text, music and their interactive response. It starts with three instruments and ends — hopefully — with a score.
