How do we archive performance as a live art form? How do we remember and commemorate lived experiences through dance and performance?
For more than a decade, hundreds of artists have moved through HAUT’s residencies and festivals, leaving traces of their artistic processes and practices.
Across our community, we can sense that questions of memory, erasure, commemoration, and archiving are intertwined in the Danish performing arts.
As we browse through our website and hard drives filled with videos, images, and process documentation, we are left with the question:
How do we create and maintain archives in motion?
Through keynotes, discussions, and workshops, our guests share their experiences with recalling and remember artists, choreographers, dancers, and performances that create and mark special moments in contemporary times.
Join us for one or two days as we create space for shared reflections and memories.
