As the moan escapes the lips, the inner world is blown into the outer sonic world, after which it is mashed back into the open mouth with a hand of hypercharged connotations. ‘Inside-out’ bounces off ‘outside-in’, and the seemingly airy sound is condensed by associations right in front of the charged lips.
She’s Too Much Sound is the working title for Karis Zidores’ exploration of what is too much, based on voice, sound, and body. During her residency at HAUT, she will explore the hypercharged material, the moan, and move in the field of tension between inner states and outer images.
