The artistic research
The group is investigating the dynamic relationship between textiles, bodies, and environmental elements as vehicles for exploring memory and impermanence.
Their research focuses on material exploration by testing large-scale interactions between Kiyoshi’s textiles and multiple performers in a controlled environment before transitioning to unpredictable outdoor contexts. Environmental dynamics by creating controlled wind experiments using fans to observe how textiles and bodies respond to external forces, which will inform later interventions in public space. And examining how different lighting conditions affect the relationship between textiles and bodies, and how this interplay alters perceptions of space and memory.

Their investigation allows the group to develop a physical vocabulary that translates concepts of remembering and forgetting into tangible movement patterns, testing ideas in controlled environments first, and building trust in improvisational structures that can adapt to different public spaces.
