IN PROCESS: A TRANSSEXUAL CHOREOGRAPHY
A residency exploring the TRANS FEMALE as a PROTAGONIST in her own right.

The artistic research
During their weeks at HAUT, Alectra and Cassie will study the idea of the transsexual body through movement, sound and fashion.
The artists will begin a SOMATIC RESEARCH of the constricted but ever escaping body: The hysterical female at the ward, the mentally ill transgender, and the CLOTHES made to restrict or confirm us – and the dance between the public and underground. They see the underground as a place of great inspiration which allows for an embodiment without constriction and public that forces us to learn the choreography and dressing of our surroundings for survival and passing. And, like a transition, QUESTIONS the idea of these DUALITIES.
The artists want to explore all the “hacks” constructing the body, more specifically the allure and mirage of the female that is made up through the garment – like cinching the waist, putting on the heels and taping the tuck – affects the body in movement. Working from the point of GARMENT CONSTRUCTION will allow the artists to transform the tactile feeling of sewing and composing a look into a choreographic lens to look through.
The artists
Alectra Rothschild and Cassie Augusta Jørgensen have collaborated on different projects since 2017 by inviting each other into respective individual projects. This residency is the first time they will start a project together from scratch.
Alectra Rothschild
Alectra Rothschild is the designer behind the Danish clothing label Alectra Rothschild / MASCULINA that is built on the notions of inclusion, craftsmanship, femininity, and high glamour. She graduated with a masters in Fashion design & sustainability from KADK in sustainability and also studied under Fabio Piras at Central Saint Martins, London. In the last few years, Alectra has had the pleasure of creating custom looks for international stars like Michéle Lamy, Arca, Yves Tumor, and MØ along with local Scandinavian stars like Jada, Tessa, COBRAH, and Nadia Tehran.
Elle Fierce
Elle Fierce (she/her) is a performance and visual artist based in Berlin and London. Weaving together dance, speech, video work and DJ’ing, her work explores the complexities and nuances within tropes of transness, queerness and blackness. Approaching performance from an intersectional perspective, Fierce presents an otherwise for radical solidarity as an opportunity to explore the interconnectedness of our bodies. Fierce’s work has been presented in galleries and stages across Europe.
Cassie Augusta Jørgensen
Cassie Augusta Jørgensen (b.1991 Copenhagen) is an artist, dancer and choreographer living and working in Berlin. Jørgensen has a background in classical ballet and modern dance and has worked with and for choreographers and directors like Ligia Lewis, Marco Storman, Adam Linder and Leila Hekmat. She holds a MFA in visual arts from the Royal Danish Art Academy and BA in dance and choreography from the Alvin Ailey School in New York. She has showed her work in festivals like TanzTage, Les Urbaines, Roskilde Festival and choreographed for Stuttgart Opera and StaatsOper Berlin. Her work with dance and performance reflects on the translation of past events in dance history that exclude bodies unsubscribing from the common narrative. More specifically she’s been thinking about transgender women (like herself) and those bodies as political subjects in performance, in dance, in film and on the theater stage. Miss Jørgensen likes to keep it sexy, she choreographes from her inside eye, with long sweaty improve sessions while she throws herself into the Danse Macabre of today.

Dj g2g
Dj-g2g is a Danish-Uruguayan artist, producer, and DJ.
Constantly touring the world, she has ignited dance floors worldwide in the most vital clubs in cities such as Taipei, London and Mexico City. Mixmag, in naming her one of the breakthrough DJs of 2025, summed it up best saying “try naming a city she hasn’t played”.
Dj g2g is known for her distinct signature sound that draws from popular internet culture, creating genre-bending hybrids that defy traditional boundaries. Her intricate productions splice together hardstyle, moombahton, deconstructed club, nightcore, jersey, dubstep, and more, forming a high-energy, unpredictable sonic experience. She has collaborated with artists like Ninajirachi, Six Sex, and Erika De Casier, while also composing soundtracks for documentaries and fashion shows, including projects for Raga Malak, Dion Lee, and Masculina.
Moving between music, fashion, and performance, Dj g2g builds worlds that celebrate defiance, community, and radical self-expression, a vision that has earned features in Vogue, Office Magazine, Resident Advisor and Dazed 100 2025 list.
