In this residency the artists form the fictional theater troupe TINY THEATER, where the BUD's and the BB (the back up dancers and the bigger body) remove the protagonist by using the stage as a laboratory for impossible situations.

The focus of the work in on the practice of back-up dancers, as the artists explore how support, community and the ABSENCE of a protagonist can create a larger, perhaps monstrous, collective body. Five performers form TINY THEATER in an abandoned casino, where they work with the psychological role-play of psychodrama, swapping ROLES and processing personal and collective experiences through art as magic.

Camilla Lind has chosen to invite three performers and one musician to participate in this residency. Together they will explore performative situations that Lind can afterwards take with her into her practice, and which could potentially create a base for a future work. They hope the time in residency will bring them deeper into the refinements and formulations of their research and that they can reach a place where TINY THEATER can unfold and get a starting point for future constellations.

This WORKSHARING is the culmination of a 2 weeks IN SEED residency, where the artists have worked in a blackbox with a simple technical set-up.

IN SEED is HAUTs 2 weeks residency, which creates the opportunity to develop and situate new artistic practices in the Danish performing arts landscape.
