VIDEN/DELING/PRAKSIS has just come off the press. The publication is based on five years of work to create language and space for sharing practice and knowledge in the experimental performing arts field.

The publication is an attempt to understand and strengthen knowledge sharing as an artistic practice in its own right - on a par with the production of performances. It is a response to the need for reflection, historicisation and documentation in an industry where resources are often concentrated on what goes on stage.

"No one can create, think and develop in isolation - we are affected by each other in a constant exchange. But there is a lack of facilitated spaces for dialogue and knowledge sharing,’ says Sophie Grodin, HAUT's knowledge officer and editor of the publication.

VIDEN/DELING/PRAKSIS is both an insight into, and a concrete anchoring of, the work that takes place between performances. It brings together the voices of artists, researchers and institutions in a diverse textual format - from interviews and essays to practice sharing and performative writing. Thank you to all contributors and professionals who have generously left their mark on the publication - and a special thank you to Sophie Grodin, for whom this marks the final task as responsible for the knowledge track in HAUT.‍
